Job Title: Education Center Operator Assistant

Location: Carmelite / 2006 Martin Luther King Dr / San Antonio, TX 78203

Schedule: Monday - Friday 8am - 5pm (some evenings/weekends may be required)

The Education Center Operator Assistant is responsible for assisting the Education Center Operator in the the
day-to-day operations of each Head Start center, and will use agency standards to ensure that services
provided are in alignment with the Social Determinants of Health through a trauma informed care lens as
defined by the agency. Functions include the delivery of the Head Start curriculum and effective instructional
practices according to the Head Start Program Performance Standards, Head Start Act, Licensing Minimum
Standards, and policies and procedures that lead to effective school readiness and a high quality learning
environment for children and families. Responsible for developing and maintaining collaborative relationships,
supervising Head Start staff at their center and incorporating an effective Parent, Family and Community
Engagement Program. Maintain and oversee assigned budgets.
