Accounts Payable Clerk
Family Logistics is a Taylor, MI based Carrier(Trucking Company). We are seeking an Accounts Payable Clerk to join our team. This position will be responsible for processing invoices, reconciling accounts, and maintaining financial records. The ideal candidate will have a strong desire to learn and grow in the accounting department.
Job Description
Accounts Payable Clerk is responsible for the daily monitoring of carrier and customer paperwork according to department procedures. Provide exceptional customer service to both our internal and external customers. This position is 1099.
Responsibilities
- Compile data, compute charges, and prepare invoices
- Calling drivers or consignees to obtain bills
- Scanning documents
- Accounts Receivable- Support Accounts Receivable by processing daily invoices
- Accounts Payable expense recording and vendor payments
- Call Carriers or Vendors as required to receive paperwork or payment.
- Addressing and resolving client questions related to invoices, carrier payments, and related issues.
- Keeping accurate records in accordance with company standards.
Requirements
- Proficient computer knowledge with accurate and quick keystrokes
- Experience with the Trucking Industry
- Must be detailed oriented, experience with Sylectus and QuickBooks is REQUIRED
- Knowledge of basic accounting skills
- Ability to multi-task and work in a fast-paced environment
- High School diploma required
- Prefer a degree in operations, logistics, or transportation related field.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $20.00 - $22.00 per hour
Schedule:
- Day shift
- Monday to Friday
