Maintenance

Choice Property seeking an experienced, full-time Maintenance with HUD experience for our Senior Citizen property. This beautiful 100-unit apartment building is located in Buena Park. The property has a very low turnover rate and no rent delinquencies.

Duties and Responsibilities of Maintenance:

• Ensure spaces are prepared for the next day by taking out the trash, tidying furniture, and dusting surfaces.
• Sweep and mop floors and vacuum carpets
• Wash and sanitize toilets, sinks, and restock disposables (e.g., soap)
• Clean mirrors, railings, door handles, elevators, windows, laundry facilities, Etc.
• Maintain outer premises by watering plants and cleaning entrances.
• Report major damages.
• Undertake custodial and janitorial tasks (lifting heavy items, moving chairs, etc.)
• Attention to detail, ability to identify, and diagnose problems or areas requiring repair or replacement.
• Walk and inspect all areas of the property.
• Self-starter with high standards who demonstrates professionalism and can work independently.
• Exceptional customer service and ability to interact with seniors in a positive manner.
• Must be able to work well with vendors.
• Computer skills: Internet and Microsoft Office experience.
• Ability to learn and take direction.

Valid California driver's license, clean driving record, and insurance required
Must meet all physical requirements and be able to read, write, and communicate in English.
A background check will be performed on all candidates.

Some weekends and Holidays are required.
