Job Summary:

Falcon's Creative Group is in search of a talented and visionary Vice President of Creative to act as the primary interface with clients and vendors and lead our team in transforming the themed entertainment industry. In this pivotal role, you will spearhead all aspects of creative development, from ideation to execution, ensuring that our projects consistently exceed expectations and set new standards for immersive experiences.

As VP of Creative, you will play a multifaceted role in driving the success of our projects and operations. You will be responsible for leading and managing a diverse team of creative professionals, including creative directors, art directors, storytellers, designers, illustrators, and more. Your leadership will be instrumental in guiding their work, fostering collaboration, and nurturing talent to achieve excellence in every project.

The VP of Creative will act as the principal point of contact for all creative matters with our clients and vendors, ensuring that their needs are met with innovative and technically feasible solutions. This role is designed to be the face of Falcon’s creative vision externally, facilitating all communications and project discussions to align with client expectations and project goals.

Understanding and leveraging technology as a storytelling tool, staying abreast of the latest advancements in immersive technologies, digital media, and interactive experiences are critical components of this role. Your ability to integrate technology seamlessly into our creative projects will enhance the guest experience and elevate our work to new heights.

A deep understanding of attraction ride systems and their integration within themed entertainment experiences are also essential in this role. Your knowledge of ride systems and their capabilities will enable you to design immersive experiences that are both innovative and technically feasible, ensuring the seamless integration of storytelling, technology, and guest engagement.

The VP of Creative will serve as a mentor and guide to our creative teams in Orlando and the Philippines, nurturing their talent and fostering a culture of collaboration, innovation, and excellence. You will cultivate and manage relationships with clients and vendors, serving as their primary creative liaison and trusted advisor. Your ability to understand and anticipate their needs, while translating them into compelling creative solutions, is critical to our success.

This leadership position requires a strategic thinker with a passion for creativity, innovation, and themed entertainment, and must thrive in a dynamic, fast-paced, and agile environment.

Essential Functions:

  • Lead and manage all aspects of creative development, from ideation to execution, ensuring projects consistently exceed expectations and set new standards for immersive experiences.
  • Provide visionary leadership and guidance to a diverse team of creative professionals, fostering a culture of collaboration, innovation, and excellence.
  • Cultivate and manage relationships with clients and vendors, serving as their primary creative liaison and trusted advisor.
  • Overseeing creative briefs, project specifications, and client feedback to ensure that all creative outputs align with the strategic goals and vision of our clients, resulting in superior project outcomes.
  • Utilize a deep understanding of attraction ride systems and their integration within themed entertainment experiences to design innovative and technically feasible immersive experiences.
  • Serve as a mentor and guide to creative teams in Orlando and the Philippines, cultivating talent and fostering a collaborative work environment.
  • Translate client needs and objectives into compelling creative solutions that drive business results.
  • Oversee the development and articulation of compelling creative visions aligned with Falcon's goals and brand identity.
  • Lead a multidisciplinary team to conceptualize, design, and execute projects for clients.
  • Collaborate with marketing and finance to ensure integration of creative vision with operational and financial viability.
  • Drive innovation in themed entertainment design by incorporating industry trends and emerging technologies.
  • Ensure themed entertainment experiences meet safety, accessibility, and guest satisfaction standards.
  • Uphold and enhance Falcon’s brand reputation through the delivery of innovative, memorable experiences.
  • Budget and manage resources to achieve creative objectives.
  • Contribute to the culture of creativity, collaboration, and continuous learning.

Job Qualifications and Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in a relevant field such as Fine Arts, Design, or Engineering. An advanced degree is preferred, which could include a Master's degree in any of these fields or related areas that focus on creative leadership, themed entertainment design, or technology integration.
  • Minimum 10 years of experience of themed entertainment experience working with large-scale destination resorts or theme park projects.
  • Demonstrated experience in a leadership role within the themed entertainment industry, with a proven track record of success in creative development and project management.
  • Strategic thinker with a passion for creativity, innovation, and themed entertainment.
  • Proven experience, interest, education, and/or certifications in themed entertainment design, demonstrated through a strong portfolio showcasing successful projects.
  • Bachelor's degree in a relevant field (e.g., Fine Arts, Design, Engineering) required; advanced degree preferred.
  • Deep understanding of attraction ride systems and their integration within themed entertainment experiences.
  • Proficiency in leveraging technology as a storytelling tool, with knowledge of immersive technologies, digital media, and interactive experiences.
  • Strong leadership and management skills, with the ability to inspire and motivate teams to achieve excellence in every project.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to cultivate and manage relationships with clients and vendors.
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to balance creative vision with practical considerations.
  • A motivated problem solver with experience working within multidisciplinary, collaborative teams.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
  • Flexibility to travel as required for client meetings, site visits, and project installations.
  • Quick acquisition of knowledge of company structure, mission, goals, and objectives, and policies and procedures.
  • Proven ability to manage budgets and resources effectively to achieve creative objectives.
  • Familiarity with industry regulations, safety standards, and best practices in themed entertainment design and construction.
  • Authorization to work lawfully in the United States of America without requiring sponsorship for immigration cases.
  • Possession of a valid driver’s license.
