The Quality Assurance Lead position here at EW Grobbel requires an individual who can uphold quality standards, by performing high level quality control inspections and verifications of processes. The Lead with be collaborating with production and development teams to generate and maintain comprehensive technical test plans. An ideal candidate would be someone who possesses great attention to detail and the ability to multi-task. 

Requirements:

• 5 years of experience in quality assurance
• The ability to work with and handle raw meat
• The ability to work in a cold environment (35-45 degrees)
• The ability to uphold safe food processing standards 
• The ability to routinely lift 20 pounds
• The ability to work 100% on plant floor
• Quality focused with strong analytical, problem-solving, and conceptual skills
• Strong verbal and written communication skills

Higher education preferred but not required*

Responsibilities: 

• Conduct pre-op inspections
• Conduct highly sensitive CCP monitoring
• Conduct sanitation standards verification 
• Conduct procedure adherence verification
• Maintain a positive attitude while upholding mutual respect for all
• Additional essential functions may be applicable to specific jobs 
• Assist in forming and improving QA systems and procedures
