Creative Financial Staffing is Hiring a Payroll Specialist Near Denver, CO
The Payroll Specialist will report to the Controller.
The Payroll Specialist role is on-site downtown to start and then can be hybrid.
Payroll Specialist Responsibilities:
- process payroll for the equity partners of the law firm (approximately 100 partners) in UltiPro
- review state and federal tax implications
- prepare payroll journal entries
- monthly payroll account reconciliations
- review quarterly profit sharing and 401K matching calculations
- other payroll-related duties as needed
Payroll Specialist Skills and Experience:
- 5 years of payroll experience
- strong customer service attitude
- intermediate to advanced Excel skills
- ability to manage confidential information
Hours for the Payroll Specialist are Monday through Friday, 8:30 - 5:00 (37.5 hour work week) in a business-casual office downtown.
Local Payroll Specialist candidates only.
Payroll Specialist candidates must be able to pass a criminal background check.
