Velocity Global Contingent Work Board is Hiring a Remote Payroll Consultant
POSITION SUMMARY
We are looking for a Payroll Consultantto help our US staff payroll team. This is a remote-based, 3-month temporary assignment. This Consultant will be responsible for supporting all aspects of our US Staff payroll administration and respective processes.

RESPONSIBILITIES
- Execute semi-monthly and bi-weekly payroll function for all supported employees in the United States
- Ensure accuracy and timeliness of all data reporting and payroll transactions; appx. 700 employees
- Validate payroll information using global HRIS automation tools and provide payroll information to internal teams on a monthly and ad hoc basis
- Process payroll information within our global HRIS platform ADP Workforce Now to drive the audit process and generate an accurate client payroll package
- Prepare and maintain accurate records and reports of payroll transactions, entering data into databases and spreadsheets
- Review and process expense reports provided for compliance in accordance with local legislation and client reimbursement policies
- Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local payroll wage, and hour laws and best practices and are communicated cross-functionally
- Facilitate audits by providing records and documentation to auditors
QUALIFICATIONS/SKILLS
To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required.
- Experience working in ADP Workforce Now platform is a MUST.
- 4 years of experience in administering payroll in the United States, experience in multi-statepayroll is required
- Excellent written and verbal communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to execute in a timely manner ensuring accuracy and follow-through
- Ability to manage multiple tasks, show independence, adaptability and meet deadlines while maintaining accuracy with strong attention to detail
- Excellent time management and organizational skills
- Experience working in Expensify or similar expense management platform is desirable
