Position Summary:

Provide technical and analytical support to the operation, maintenance and enhancement of Salesforce; provide expertise in the business functions and processes of specific functional areas; work with process owners, superusers and end-users in identifying, analyzing and resolving business process or configuration issues.

Responsibilities

  • Help to ensure that Evergreen's Salesforce instance will drive the effectiveness and productivity of our various teams.
  • The role will collaborate with internal stakeholders to design and implement out-of-the-box and custom Salesforce solutions that will support a wide range of critical business processes, including those that drive our marketing, customer success, client services and partner teams.
  • Day-to-day support of the application following best practices around maintaining data integrity and software development lifecycle processes.
  • Be a key member of our growing operations team, along with an incredibly talented set of individuals who share a passion for developing processes and systems that enable Evergreen to operate most efficiently and accelerate the company's ability to achieve its overall goals.
  • Support and maintain the current SFDC production environment via Salesforce ticket requests and defined projects.
  • Support administration functions such as the maintenance of custom objects, page layouts, record types, fields, triggers, validation rules and formulas.
  • Develop and maintain Apex code, process builder and flows; participate in quality assurance (QA) efforts.
  • Provide day-to-day end-user support.
  • Stay up-to-day on Salesforce releases and potential updates that will help to improve our system while advising the team and superusers of the benefits and risks of implementing the changes.
  • Design and develop data migrations and integrations between Salesforce and external systems, including developing data transformations and creating automated jobs to support business processes.
  • Support testing and validation, which includes devising test plans, creating test cases, establishing protocols and appropriate testing environments.
  • Train new and existing users of Salesforce according to their job role/function and improve the proficiency of Salesforce users across the organization.
  • Create and maintain documentation on existing processes, new implementations, application configuration and related materials for users.
  • Build and maintain reports and dashboards in accordance with workforce requirements.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

Required Job Skills:

  • Bachelor's degree in computer science, programming or a related field is preferred but not required.
  • Prior experience as a Salesforce System Administrator; SF Certification is preferred.
  • Experience working with Apex, Lightning Web Components, Visualforce and Flows is preferred.
  • Experience supporting and managing Salesforce-related and third-party tools that integrate with Salesforce.
  • Ability to plan ahead, manage time well and be available and accessible.
  • Can work independently, with exceptional decision-making skills, using discretion when interacting with others and creatively thinking of better ways to do things.

  • We are a fully remote telecommuting organization; must be able to work from home. 
  • Must be located in a state where Evergreen is an authorized employer: OR, WA, ID, WY, UT, CO, AZ, MO, IL, WI, MI, CT, VT, MA.
  • Preference will be given to candidates in the Portland/Vancouver Metro area.
  • Drug test – must pass a pre-employment drug screen.
  • Pre-employment background check.
  • A solid internet connection and home workspace.
