Job Description:
As our Service Writer at ETI, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring exceptional customer service and efficient operations within our organization. Your responsibilities will encompass a wide range of tasks and duties, allowing you to showcase your skills and contribute to the overall success of our team. Some of the key responsibilities include:
- Direct Customer Service and Sales: You will be the primary point of contact for customers, providing friendly and knowledgeable assistance. This includes addressing inquiries, offering product recommendations, providing accurate pricing information, and ensuring customer satisfaction throughout the sales process.
- Estimating: Working closely with technicians and customers, you will gather necessary information to accurately estimate repair costs and timelines. Your attention to detail and ability to analyze complex information will be crucial in generating reliable estimates.
- Workflow Coordination: As the Service Writer, you will be responsible for managing the flow of work within the department. This involves prioritizing tasks, assigning jobs to technicians, and ensuring that projects are completed efficiently and on schedule.
- Inventory Control: You will oversee inventory management, ensuring that necessary parts and equipment are readily available for repairs and maintenance. Monitoring stock levels, placing orders, and maintaining accurate records will be part of your regular responsibilities.
- Quality Control: Maintaining high standards of quality is essential in our industry. You will conduct thorough inspections of the completed work to ensure it meets our established criteria and customer expectations. Identifying any issues or areas for improvement and taking appropriate corrective measures will be vital to maintaining our reputation for excellence.
- Coordination of Product Delivery: In some cases, you may be responsible for coordinating the delivery of heavy machinery or parts to customers. This entails scheduling and arranging shipments, ensuring timely and accurate delivery, and managing any related documentation or paperwork.

Requirements:
- Previous customer service experience (required)
- Preferred supervisory or management experience.
- Excellent communication skills
- Scheduling or workflow management experience

Work Schedule:
- Monday to Friday, 8:00 AM to 5:30 PM (business hours) with frequent opportunities for overtime
- Occasional Saturdays may be required based on workload demands.
