JobSummary:

We are seeking a dedicated and hardworking Shop/Yard tech tojoin our team at ETI. The successful candidate will assist our fluid powertechnicians and heavy equipment mechanics in performing maintenance and repair.They will also assist in the teardown of equipment at our outdoor yard.

Responsibilities:

Assist technicians and mechanics in performing maintenanceand repair of cylinders, pumps, and heavy equipment.

Clean and maintain work areas and equipment, ensuring thatall tools and machinery are in good working order and ready for use.

Move equipment and parts around the shop as needed, usingforklifts, cranes, and other lifting equipment.

Perform basic tasks, such as changing oil, greasingcomponents, and changing filters.

Clean the shop as needed including mopping, sweeping, trash,etc

Follow all safety procedures and guidelines to ensure a safeworking environment.

Requirements:

High school diploma or equivalent.

Clean driving record

Willingness to learn and develop skills

Ability to follow instructions and work closely withtechnicians and mechanics.

Strong work ethic and commitment to quality.

Detail-oriented with excellent organizational skills.

Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.

Willingness to work overtime as needed.

Ability to operate forklifts

PhysicalRequirements:

Ability to lift heavy equipment and components upwards of 50pounds

Ability to work in noisy, dusty, and hot/cold environments.

Ability to stand, walk, and bend for extended periods oftime.
