Job Overview:
We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Data Governance Analyst to join our team. As a Data Governance Analyst, you will be responsible for ensuring the accuracy, integrity, and security of our organization's data. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to develop and implement data governance policies and procedures.
Duties:
- Develop and maintain data governance frameworks, policies, and procedures
- Collaborate with stakeholders to define data governance objectives and priorities
- Identify and document data quality issues and recommend solutions
- Monitor data quality metrics and perform data profiling to identify anomalies
- Conduct data analysis to identify trends, patterns, and insights
- Collaborate with IT teams to implement data governance tools and technologies
- Provide guidance and support to business users on data governance best practices
- Assist in the development of data governance training materials and deliver training sessions
- Stay up-to-date with industry trends and best practices in data governance
Experience:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field
- Proven experience as a Data Governance Analyst or similar role
- Strong knowledge of Tableau, SQL, ETL processes, and project management principles
- Proficiency in analytics tools such as Python or R for data analysis
- Experience in data collection, analysis, interpretation, and visualization
- Familiarity with Informatica or other data integration tools is a plus
- Excellent problem-solving skills with the ability to analyze complex datasets
- Strong attention to detail and ability to work with large volumes of data accurately
