Essential Duties:

• Monitor residents’ behavior and symptoms; maintain the confidentiality of their information at all times.
• Assist residents with activities of daily living include bathing, dressing, hygiene, and grooming, in accordance with established care requirements.
• Provide direct personal care, social support, and supervision to residents in accordance with the individualized Care Plan.
• Interacts in a respectful, positive, and calm manner with residents, family members, team members, and staff.
• Maintain a clean, safe, and supportive environment for our residents to ensure the safety and well-being of the residents are maintained.
• Observes and reports all unusual conditions and reactions to the nurse in charge.
• Accurately take and record vitals, height, weight, and assists with examinations.
• Assists with overseeing the daily well-being of patients on a unit by providing exceptional personal care.

Education/Qualifications:

• Excellent multi-tasking skills and can work well with a team.
• Willingness to adhere to health and safety standards.
• Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills.
• Positive mindset, respectful, supportive, and compassionate. 
• Must be able to meet the physical requirements including lifting up to 30 lbs. and supporting up to 40 lbs. with or without reasonable accommodation or assistance.
• Able to pass a background check under state regulations.
• Graduate of a state-approved nursing assistant training program, current Nursing Assistant Certification, or interest in attending a state-approved training program.
