Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Director of Nursing to join our team. As the Director of Nursing, you will be responsible for overseeing and managing all aspects of nursing care within our facility. This is a leadership role that requires strong clinical knowledge, excellent communication skills, and the ability to effectively manage a team.

Responsibilities:
- Provide leadership and guidance to the nursing staff, ensuring high-quality care is delivered to all residents
- Develop and implement nursing policies and procedures in accordance with state and federal regulations
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals, including doctors and therapists, to develop comprehensive care plans for residents
- Monitor and evaluate the performance of nursing staff, providing feedback and coaching as needed
- Ensure compliance with all applicable laws, regulations, and standards of practice
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date medical records for all residents
- Oversee medication management and administration processes
- Implement infection control protocols to prevent the spread of infectious diseases
- Conduct regular assessments of residents' health status and coordinate necessary medical interventions
- Provide education and training to nursing staff on topics such as resident rights, medical terminology, physiology, anatomy, care plans, home care, and HIPAA

Experience:
- Valid state RN license
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in nursing leadership roles, preferably in a nursing home or long-term care setting
- Strong knowledge of medical terminology, physiology, and anatomy
- Experience developing and implementing care plans for residents
- Familiarity with home care practices and regulations
- Knowledge of HIPAA regulations and ability to ensure compliance
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
