Estrella Health and Rehab, a Skilled Nursing Facility, is hiring for a full-time Maintenance Manager. Expected schedule is Monday to Friday, with expectation to cover on call shifts as well if an emergency arises.

Purpose of Job Position:
As the Maintenance Manager, you will supervise the day-to-day activities of the Maintenance Department in a safe and efficient manner in accordance with company policy and procedures, current federal, state, and local standards, guidelines and regulations governing the facility, and as may be directed by the Administrator, to assure that the facility environment is maintained in a clean, safe, and comfortable manner.

• Administrative Functions: Ensure that maintenance schedules are followed as outlined for respective shift or area. Respond to all accidents/incidents in a timely fashion.
• Maintenance Services: Receive and follow maintenance schedule/instructions from your supervisor and as outlined in our established maintenance policies and procedures. Perform routine maintenance on grounds, parking areas, driveways, etc. Perform routine maintenance and repair on the facility and equipment to include plumbing, plastering, electrical, carpentry, mechanical, etc., as directed, in accordance with established procedure.

Required Skills:
Reads, writes, speaks and understands the English language. Deal tactfully with personnel, residents, family members, visitors, government agencies/personnel and the general public. 2 years of Life Safety experience in a Skilled Nursing setting, conducting fire/disaster drills, and ensuring compliance of state/federal regulations.
