PURPOSE OF THE POSITION
The Manager, Video Production manages the people, processes, and tools related to video production and distribution for the Fulfillment Services Center. The Manager is responsible for ensuring efficient, effective fulfillment of video orders and pro-actively pursues and implements process improvement to increase profitability.
JOB DUTIES
Hires, trains, and manages a team of video supervisors and coordinators
Manages all aspects of the video production workflow for the Fulfillment Services Center
Designs and implements strategies to maximize efficient use of production capacity
Streamlines job assignment and order prioritization processes
Reviews KPI with direct reports
Provides feedback to the team regarding performance expectations, utilizing KPI tracking, reporting, and related process improvement
Consolidates and manages defect tracking
Designs and implements strategies for defect reduction and to improve client deliverables or create new ones
Enables a continuation model that facilitates efficient workflow between work shifts
Communicates with clients to provide technical support regarding Esquire’s video products
Communicates and collaborates with stakeholders to resolve issues
Manages video-related data center file storage levels
Designs and implements policies, procedures, and task outlines to facilitate accurate, timely production of orders
Other duties as assigned
REQUIRED KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES
Knowledge of video production-related technical skills or the ability to develop these skills
Skill in using TMPEG, YesLaw Sync Generator, TimeCoder, and NetSuite
Skill using Microsoft Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint, and Word
Ability to gather, interpret, and analyze data and make recommendations based on findings
Ability to adapt communication style to varying audiences.
Excellent interpersonal, verbal, and written communication and organizational skills
Ability to plan work effectively and with a deep attention to detail
Ability to meet the deadlines assigned
Ability to make sound decisions
Ability to multi-task and shift priorities
Ability to resolve challenges and suggest process improvements
Ability to work under pressure
Ability to take direction from more than one supervisor
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS
High school diploma or GED required; Associates degree or higher preferred
Client service experience in an office setting
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
2 years of experience in Esquire’s Fulfillment Services Center
Previous experience with video editing
Previous experience using NetSuite
Previous legal or law firm work experience
