Job functions and duties The Branch Manager has profit and loss responsibility to include branch growth, profitability, forecasting accuracy, gross margin improvement, market share, branch cash flow, operating income, and safety performance. Increases Envirotrol’s share across local market segments to establish company leadership and sustain business growth. Develops and executes short and long-term Branch business plans. Produces accurate forecasts for Branch’s financial objectives. Manages Branch assets (people, financial and material) in a manner that meets or exceeds profitability goals. Leads Branch efforts to identify, secure and retain customers by actively networking with community business, governmental and professional leadership; establishing relationships that enhance the local reputation of EAS/Envirotrol and the Branch; and ensuring referrals and proposal requests. Drives account management principles and assesses potential customers and opportunities. Ensures the development and maintenance of Account Plans. Builds a Branch climate that energizes team members to provide high quality, cost efficient, customer-directed service and exceed Branch performance targets. Oversees Branch financial management following the policies and standards of Envirotrol and with a stewardship that creates long-term viability for the Branch. Establishes collaborative relationships across the Carolinas and wider Service Business to maximize Envirotrol’s performance, provide quality customer service, and take advantage of successful practices used by other Branches and Operating Companies. Monitors customer satisfaction and takes action to address satisfaction issues in a prompt and non-defensive manner. Builds and leads the Branch team following EAS/Envirotrol’s human resources policies and standards and providing coaching, development and motivation to bring out the best in each team member. Serves as an active member of the EAS/Envirotrol management team including providing Branch performance information in an accurate and timely fashion, working with other management to secure customers and deliver projects (sharing resources and approaches as needed), and supporting management to maximize revenues and profitability (sharing success approaches, problem-solving, coaching and mentoring). Acts and manages the Branch with honesty and integrity, following the highest ethical standards; complies with all local, state, and Federal regulations. Qualifications Experience in after-market and/or total solutions services, ideally gained from an industrial products sector that caters to facility operations and maintenance segments. Alternatively, experience from commercial and industrial product sectors with a strong safety and mission critical component will be considered. Exceptional leadership skills and capability to build consensus and execute common goals. Must have strong and demonstrable domain expertise and knowledge in HVAC solutions contracting and aftermarket parts/services business. Demonstrable track record of success in a leadership role managing an organization of a similar complexity and matrix structure. Candidate must be an excellent communicator, both written and verbal, and must be capable and comfortable presenting to executive leadership and other internal audiences. Education and Experience At least 10 years of experience in HVAC Service The selected candidate must have an undergrad degree in Business or Engineering and preferably an MBA. B2B sales experience in Building Automation and/or HVAC Service preferred. Operational experience in Building Automation and/or HVAC Service Extensive experience in a leadership role with full P&L responsibility for portfolios greater than $5M in Revenues.
