JOB SUMMARY:
Responsible for transporting people with disabilities, low-income, and/or older adults from their home to medical appointments, work, errands, church, and other reasons. You will provide door-through-door service, ensuring passenger and vehicle safety. You will work four days a week of 10 hours each day with time and half for hours over 40 per week.
QUALIFICATIONS and RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Be at least 21 years of age.
- Experience with commercial driving, preferred with passengers.
- Valid current driver's license with a clean Motor Vehicle Record.
- No CDL Required.
- Cleaning and maintenance services for the vehicle.
- Willing to undergo a Background Check.
- Able to pass Drug and Alcohol screening.
- Must be able to safely lift at least 75 pounds.
- Self-motivated and flexible.
- Possess decision making and problem-solving skills.
- Maintains confidentiality in all areas.
- Sound interpersonal skills.
- Good documentation and computer skills.
- Must be able to review, complete, and submit paperwork electronically.
- High School diploma or equivalency.
- Time management and Organizational skills.
WORKING CONDITIONS
Work inside an enclosed vehicle, pick up passengers and navigating roads in different weather conditions. Regularly exposed to hot or cold temperatures.
