Summary: Seeking a skilled Automation Support Specialist to provide remote technical support for robotic systems, collaborate with stakeholders, and manage software development projects.

Responsibilities:

• Provide remote technical support and troubleshooting for robotic systems both nationally and internationally

• Collaborate closely with stakeholders to deliver excellent customer service through consultation, technical support, follow-up, and documentation

• Assist with software development for ongoing and upcoming projects

• Manage after-sales projects related to software or computers

• Cultivate strong relationships with clients fostering long-term business partnerships

• Ensure compliance with health and safety policies and procedures throughout all work activities

Requirements:

• Proficiency in reading and interpreting blueprints and electrical schematics

• Experience programming PLCs using Allen Bradley or Siemens

• Solid background in automation with understanding of Oracle PL/SQL, Microsoft Transact SQL, PLC programming languages, .NET Framework, Visual Basic, ASi Safety systems, hardware configurations, mechanical drawings, and electrical drawings

• Strong computer skills and TCP/IP networking knowledge along with the ability to integrate systems with servo motors in industrial environments

• Ability to adapt quickly to change and work under pressure in a multifaceted environment

• Availability to work flexible hours including evenings weekends and overtime

• Bachelor's degree in Software Engineering/Mechatronics Computer Science or equivalent combination of education and experience

• Experience working with computer network protocols high-and low-level programming languages and servo drives in a software support capacity

Travel Requirements: This position requires an average of 15% to 25% travel both nationally and internationally. Valid driver's license passport unrestricted travel ability to various countries are required.

Pay Details: $60,000.00 to $80,000.00 per year
