Overview

Enhabit Home Health & Hospice is seeking an experience Accounting Manager to join our team in Dallas, TX. The Accounting Manager will supervise the daily operations of their team, consisting of 6 direct reports. This role is responsible for the oversight and accurate maintenance of the general ledger, preparing financial statements, and completing financial analysis.

This position is located at 6688 N. Central Expressway, Dallas, TX 75206.

After 3 months of training onsite at the Dallas office, this position will be eligible to work remotely 2-3 days per week. Additionally, all members of the accounting team are expected to work onsite, at the corporate office in Dallas, the first 10 business days of each month. 

Responsibilities

• Supervise the daily operation of team. Oversee direct reports to ensure timely completion of duties and responsibilities.
• Manage analysis of financial statements against prior year and budget, month-to-date and year-to-date; include cost per visit and variance analysis, ensure concise explanations to support findings.
• Ensure branch financials are completed accurately, efficiently, and timely; manage close timeline.
• Coordinate and review consolidated reconciliations for entities timely.
• Ensure all Sarbanes–Oxley Act (SOX) controls, processes, and procedures are followed; identify areas of deficiency and propose suggestion for improvement.

Qualifications

Required:

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, or business administration
• 2 years of directly supervising or managing an accounting team

Preferred:

• Multi-entity or multi-location accounting experience in healthcare or retail
• Experience using PeopleSoft financials
