ENGIE North America Inc. is Hiring a Manager, Asset Management Near Houston, TX

What You Can Expect

As the Manager, Asset Management, located in Houston, TX, you will be responsible for leading a growing Asset Management team within the Flexible Generation (FlexGen) Business Unit of ENGIE North America. This team is responsible for a wide suite of management tasks for a rapidly growing standalone Battery Energy Storage System (BESS) fleet across the United States.

Reporting to the Asset Management Director your primary duties encompass:

  • Oversee daily availability and maintenance scheduling discussions across Operations group for both California Independent System Operator (CAISO) and Electric Reliability Counsil of Texas (ERCOT) portfolios
  • Oversee annual Operating Expenses (OPEX) budgeting process and provide OPEX inputs to investment process for upcoming assets
  • Oversee Request for Quote (RFQ) process for various spare parts / 3rd party support contracts and support team members through daily asset support processes
  • Oversee various asset compliance deliverables, including ISO RFI support, new asset commissioning test verification and others
  • Lead periodic reporting efforts (weekly, monthly, etc.) for operating portfolio, providing commentary for main availability drivers
  • Lead various interactions with other sub-teams within Operations, including Field Service, Remote Operations, and Performance Management

What You'll Bring

  • Bachelor's degree in engineering, finance or a related technical discipline
  • Minimum seven (7) years' experience power industry or relevant Asset Management experience
  • Familiarity with nodal power markets
  • Familiarity with field operations tasks / maintenance tracking
  • Experience with HSE protocols
  • Experience with ISO compliance tasks

Additional Details

  • This role is eligible for our hybrid work policy
  • Must be available to travel domestically up to 15% of the time and with the need for some overnight trips
  • Must possess a valid U.S. driver's license/clean driving record
  • Must be willing and able to comply with all ENGIE ethics and safety policies

Compensation

Salary Range: $96,100 - $147,660 USD annually

This represents the average expected pay range for a qualified candidate.

Actual offered salary may depend on geography, experience, industry knowledge, education, internal pay alignment, or other bona fide factors.

ENGIE complies with all federal, state, and local minimum wage laws. Actual salary offered may vary depending on geography, experience, education, internal pay alignment, or other bona fide factors.

In addition to base pay, this position is eligible for a competitive bonus / incentive plan.
