We are seeking an experienced VP, Asset Management Catalyze who will report directly to the Chief Operating Officer and will have primary responsibility for administration of all contracts, O&M, Analytics, Optimization, and reporting related to Catalyze’s fleet of operating projects consisting of solar energy, battery energy storage, and electric vehicle charging systems.

You Are:

  • A detail-oriented professional with asset management, project contract management, managing third party service and supply contracts, renewable energy operations and maintenance and/or power assets expertise

  • Adept at tracking and managing multiple operating projects and ensuring compliance with all contractual, legal and regulatory requirements.

  • Highly accomplished at engaging and collaborating across a matrixed organization with senior and staff level employees as well as external Real Estate Partners

  • Experienced at managing a business P&L

  • Familiar with ISO markets and how assets (Solar and Storage) are valued and deployed in multiple markets and utility programs

You Will:

  • Oversee the execution of project contracts and delivery of value to our real estate partners and joint portfolio profitability

  • Ensure account consistency across all defined project regions and markets, configurations, and development requirements

  • Ensure and Manage O&M 3rd party providers to optimize availability and ensure projects are available to maximize revenue 

  • Ensure project milestones and KPIs are successfully met

  • Work with Catalyze business units to maximize project velocity and investment value, and performance for projects in a defined geographic region

  • Ensure and manage processes and procedures to ensure rights and obligations under project and enterprise contracts are fulfilled

  • Manage project costs and operations to budget and to maximize project and enterprise value

  • Responsible for leadership and management of the Asset Management Team and their responsibilities and performance.

  • Work with Accounting & Finance and other business units to prepare and present regional financial performance results and forecasts from Catalyze’s operating Assets, implement and maintain operating procedures to maintain safety, profitability, and consistency across regions and assets.

  • Develop and present project operating budgets.

  • Responsible for all asset related system integration, field services and specific commissioning services, O&M, commercial operations of operating assets, and analytics.

What You Bring to the Team:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Business, Economics or similar field; Master’s degree a plus

  • P&L management experience on major accounts, territory, or corporate division

  • 15 years of experience in asset management or contract management

  • 10 years of renewable experience and/or power asset management

  • Power asset management experience at a portfolio level

  • Deep understanding of the measures of success and challenges in commercial real estate a plus

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills

  • Strong client-facing skills, including demonstrated ability to discern varying complex corporate stakeholder needs and concerns

  • Ability to travel to meet with clients and their stakeholders up to 20% of the time

Target Comp Range:

  • $190,000 to $235,000 base salary, depending on experience and location, plus bonus
