This position is responsible for new business growth and/or expanding existing accounts within a geographic region.
An Energy Management Corp (EMC) Account Manager / Outside Sales leverages their technical competencies to identify, qualify, and delivery industrial solutions to End Users and Contractors while simultaneously providing value to Design Engineers throughout the specification process.
The chosen candidate will be responsible for the account plan to drive goal attainment in your assigned territory. Ultimately, to be successful you will become a trusted advisor to key customer influencers and decision makers.
An EMC Account Manager / Outside Sales is given a large amount of autonomy to achieve success and is expected to follow all company policies, procedures, and sales programs set in place, including timely CRM documentation and pipeline development/management.

Key Responsibilities:

• Effectively develops new business as demonstrated through invoiced orders, bookings, sales pipeline development, and daily activity.

Education:

• Degree in Business, Science or Engineering a plus.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.

Other:

• The chosen candidate must be willing to take a drug/alcohol-screening exam before and/or after employment as a condition of employment and must provide a current motor vehicle report, exhibiting a good driving record.

Applicants must be able to fulfill the physical duties of the job, which include being able to stand or walk for long periods of time, occasionally sit, and use hands and fingers to handle or feel, use wrists and hands for using tools, and looking down at the product being built. Applicants must be able to reach with hands and arms. Applicants must also be able to regularly lift and/or move up to 50 pounds, frequently lift and/or move up to 25 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision and ability to adjust focus.
