Enamel Dentistry in Austin, TX is looking for an experienced and highly motivated Dental Treatment Coordinator to join our team. As a Dental Treatment Coordinator, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service and support throughout the entire patient experience, from appointment booking to post-treatment care. You will be responsible for maintaining accurate records and scheduling appointments, as well as communicating treatment plan details to patients. You will also provide support and assistance to the dental team in order to ensure the highest quality of care. Salary commensurate with experience, from $20-$24 per hour.

Responsibilities

Responsibilities:

  • Greet incoming patients in a friendly and welcoming manner
  • Assist with office tours and explanation of our amenities for all new patients
  • Responsible for opening the office and setting up lobby for patient success
  • Turn on and set up front desk equipment, including TVs, iPads, computers, lobby music
  • Prepare and present treatment plan and financial estimates to patients for all prescribed treatment
  • Schedule patient treatment appointments; reschedule patients that miss their appointment and call patients that have not completed treatment
  • Manage the Doctor and hygiene schedules to achieve utilization goals through efficient use of appointment time
  • Work with the clinical team to effectively manage daily patient flow, providing communication and information to the appropriate individuals
  • Assist patient with financial arrangements
  • Complete pre-authorization
  • Handle all treatment paperwork including consent forms, policy forms and exit paperwork
  • Effectively communicate and develop a strong working relationship with the Doctor and promote teamwork through cooperative and professional behaviors
  • Check patients out
  • Answer and return incoming calls from patients
  • Adhere to confidentiality, state, federal, and HIPAA laws and guidelines with regard to patient records
  • Follow Enamel Dentistry Group policies and directions from Office Manager
Qualifications

  • Dental financial coordinator experience-1 year minimum required
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Strong critical thinking skills
  • Positive and professional demeanor
  • Dental insurance experience- 1 year minimum required
  • Ability to handle customer complaints effectively
  • Open dental, slack, blue note, and google suite experience a plus
  • 3rd party financing a plus
  • Bilingual a plus
Compensation
$20 - $24 hourly
