Admin Assistant / Customer Service - $17.00
Growing manufacturing company located in the city of Baldwin Park is looking to hire an administrative assistant to help the Credit Department with the below functions
This position works on the receiving side of the company’s finances; the accounts receivable clerk is responsible for many records and payment-related transactions.
These transactions include but are not limited to:
Handles all requests for dealers, contract & ecommerce accounts.
Processing requests for copies of invoices and statements.
Verify discrepancies by resolving or forwarding to the appropriate department any customer billing questions on taxes, freight charges, pricing issues or receiving discrepancies.
Facilitate payment of invoices due by sending bill reminders and contacting customers
Entering and validating resale certifications in our sales tax compliance software.
Requirements:
A good understanding of basic accounting principles, fair credit practices and a high degree of accuracy
Great attention to detail
Strong written and oral communication skills
Ability to calculate and manage accounting figures.
Basic understanding of accounting principles – credits, debits, percentages
1 year steady work experience in a b2b environment
Experience using word, excel, outlook and Epicor experience is a plus
