BASIC FUNCTION:

To provide support to accounting staff with specific projects. Will assist with analyses, schedules, and other reports upon request.

WORK PERFORMED:

• Assist with maintenance of chart of accounts by running General ledger activity reports as requested;
• Assist accountants on specific analyses and help with organizing online folders for fiscal year 2024-25; 
• Assist Senior Director with outline/preparation of general accounting policies and procedures manual; and
• Ad hoc reports as needed by all accounting staff.

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:

Education level required (education required for this position): Pursuing bachelor’s degree in accounting or finance.

Knowledge Required: Proficient in Microsoft Excel, Outlook and Word (Power point a plus); Excellent written and oral communication skills; Skilled in accounting software systems; and knowledge of basic accounting principles and practices.
