Education Level required: bachelor’s degree in relevant area.
Relevant experience required: Minimum 7 years of work experience, preferably with 5 years in government and 3 years’ experience in grant program administration or operations in a grantmaking organization. Experience setting up systems for grants, operations, and program management. Experience drafting, reviewing, negotiating, and executing contracts in partnership with a legal team. Experience with federal government reporting. Experience staffing and operating a government office. Additional experience may be in grant compliance, operations, or related fields.
Knowledge required: In-depth knowledge and understanding of current Federal broadband funding opportunities and requirements. Familiarity with government procurement and grantmaking. Knowledge of Empire State Development is preferred.
