Job Description Summary This is a tremendous opportunity for a senior leader who will serve as a critical member of the senior management team of the Solutions Division. Reporting to and in collaboration with the President of Solutions, the Senior Vice President will lead, develop, and implement the strategic vision and leadership of Enterprise’s Solutions division; oversee a significant portfolio of markets, national programs, and related services; strengthen the effectiveness of program execution; drive program design integrated across the Solutions division to increase impact; promote and diversify program funding, including a healthy mix of philanthropic, banks, government, and corporate support; elevate the organization’s profile through clear external communications of programmatic work and industry leadership; provide mentoring, guidance, leadership, and professional development to all Vice President staff. Job Description Job Responsibilities: Strategic Leadership and Vision of programs across the Solutions division that aligns with Enterprise’s mission, priorities and values. Program Management and Execution: Planning, implementation, scaling and evaluation of complex and diversified programs. Oversees vice president to set short-, medium-, and long term plans and objectives for large scale programs – building strategies in collaboration with vice presidents to build 3 year strategies for programmatic and staffing growth. Develop an assessment protocol to determine the feasibility and sustainability of programs, and increase effectiveness and efficiency of program delivery. Analyze and assess programs based on data collected and implement corrective measures, if required Team Leadership and Development to lead, mentor and build leadership capacity of the leadership team. Foster an environment of continuous improvement and professional growth of program staff. Determine staffing plans to achieve Solutions goals and objectives and participate in hiring decisions for new senior program staff. Promote ongoing opportunities for staff and partners to give feedback. DEI and Racial Equity: Support organization-wide efforts to advance the organization’s commitment to diversity, racial equity, and inclusion. Lead programmatic activities to reflect this commitment by working in collaboration with the Racial Equity Working Group. This position requires extensive experience working with diverse populations and cultures. Compliance: Works in collaboration with Legal, Finance and Operations Management to ensure that the organization’s programs follow all federal, state, funding, and city regulations, certifications, and licensing requirements. Business and Financial Acumen to oversee and provide guidance for multiple departments and construct solutions for business and financial efficiencies in collaboration with the Vice President, Business Systems and Strategy. Executes organization wide goals: Advance Racial Equity, Increase Housing Supply, and Build Resilience and Upward Mobility. Promotes collaborative relationships between markets and program areas, ensuring strong ideas are scaled and the expectations of funders, and partners are consistently met and evaluated. Relationship Building and Management of internal and external partnerships to grow collaboration across the Solutions Division, across Enterprise divisions to advance organization-wide goals, and key external stakeholders. Fundraising Collaboration and Growth working closely with the Resource, Development and Communications Department (“RDC”) to manage external funder relationships and respond to national funding proposals in partnership with RDC and senior staff. Advance Ground-up National Strategies across Solutions division to deepen authenticity, forge ahead in one voice, with programs across Solutions division that are clear, crisp, and bold. Program, Policy and Advocacy Alignment: Work in deep collaboration with other SVPs of Programs and Policy ensuring deep coordination between programs, and policy at the state, local and federal levels. Solutions Ecosystem implement change effectively that requires adaptation of new systems and processes, while also engaging staff through clear communication, training, and support to ensure a smooth transition and alignment with new goals. Qualifications: Candidate must be an existing Vice President. Executive level role, which requires a minimum of 10 years leadership experience in a nonprofit, government, or philanthropy, overseeing multiple programs or contracts ideally at an organization serving low-income communities. A minimum of 10 years’ experience in affordable housing program, policy, and finance is needed, experience managing multiple programs is strongly desired. Bachelor’s degree required; advanced degree in Business/Public Administration, Urban Planning or a related field is strongly desired. Demonstrated track record on fundraising for large scale programs. Comprehensive working knowledge of program planning, organizational structure, budgeting, and administrative operations. Experience leading others to new levels of effectiveness and programmatic impact. Demonstrated experience advancing DEI and racial equity practices to increase diversity in the workforce and infuse racial equity into program design and implementation. Excellent communication skills, both written and oral, with the ability to represent the organization externally across a wide range of stakeholders and constituencies. Experience influencing organizational culture through passion for the organization’s mission and purpose and an ability to communicate this passion and persuasion to others. Strong relationship builder with the ability to find common ground, build consensus and strengthen collaboration among diverse stakeholders. Strong community awareness and astuteness. Action oriented with the ability to successfully navigate in a fast-paced, outcomes-driven and entrepreneurial environment. Demonstrated commitment to the values of diversity, inclusiveness, and empowerment. Demonstrated success of making organization change to assure adoption of new tools and way of working. Flexible and adaptable, with a strong sense of urgency. This position will be based in one of Enterprise’s local otffices and be required periodically to meet with senior staff and partners across the organization. Monthly travel is expected to Enterprise Markets. Enterprise offers a comprehensive total rewards package for you and your family. The base salary for this role is $250,000 to $280,000, depending on level of skills and experience. The salary range for this position is represented by the low and high end of the range for the amount to be paid for the position. Salaries paid at Enterprise will vary based on factors that may include skills, education, location, experience, and performance.
