  • The Program Manager, Learning & Development role is part of the Emory Healthcares System Talent team and directly enables the organizations commitment to be the best place to learn by designing and deploying learning programs with high level of instructional design expertise and design thinking for optimizing learners experience and business impact.
  • Learning Programs Management: Takes the lead on assigned programs, overseeing all aspects of the program for successful deployment including planning, seeking approval, instructional design, program coordination, scheduling, documentation and measurement.
  • Creates feedback mechanisms for ongoing improvement of programs content, design and stakeholders experience including participants, internal faculty and external partners
  • Measures effectiveness of assigned training programs using satisfaction as well as other business related inputs.
  • Evaluates program content and activities for currency, instructional integrity and engagement level to continuously enhance program quality and impact.
  • Ensures assigned learning programs meet Emory Healthcare Learning and IACET standards.
  • LMS set-up and communication plan of available learning and development programs, participants tracking and support to optimize their learning experience.
  • Owns programs related records including course participation, learning objectives, content or activity changes, course versions, subject matter experts, stakeholder approvals, and any other records associated with the assigned training programs.
  • Develops and deploys marketing and communication of course availability, manages nomination process, communicates with participants and HR partners, working with event planner (as needed) to ensure flawless execution.
  • Develop and design course material including slides, participant handouts, exercises/activities and facilitator guides.
  • Partner with LMS team in the development of eLearning and other media to support projects and programs.
  • Conduct research to support the execution of learning needs analysis and training effectiveness measurement.
  • Ensure learning objectives of reoccurring programs remain current and updated.
  • Adjust content to reflect changes to learning outcomes
  • Actively research new learning technologies and promote experimentation with those technologies for increased scale and improved learner experience
  • Facilitate program sessions and/or specific program content for assigned programs.
  • Effectively leverage adult learning techniques to minimize `lecture¿ time and increase active learning time (i.e. discussions, breakout groups, ideas generation, etc.)
  • Support facilitation and delivery of sessions within programs outside main learning & development pillar of ownership to ensure the team is delivering the full spectrum of program offerings successfully.
  • Act as a producer as needed for sessions and SME delivered content.
  • Train-the-trainer for programs facilitation.
  • Supports OU teams with expert guidance for site-specific learning programs as needed
  • Shares best practices in learning across the system MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
  • A Bachelors degree in human resources, psychology, adult education, or related field.
  • Strong knowledge of ADDIE process for creating instructional design content.
  • Expertise in learning techniques for effective facilitation, interactivity and engagement.
  • Customer centricity focus and ability to build strong working relationships with internal and external partners.
  • Current knowledge of learning technologies and trends, current practices and blended program design techniques for improved learning and development effectiveness.
  • Ability to influence SMEs and effectively communicate, engage, and create together.
  • Strong program management skills and attention to details for seamless planning and execution of learning programs.
  • Ability to plan and execute work with high level of autonomy and ownership

Additional Details

Salary $34.91 - $47.13

The grade and salary of the position are based on qualifications of each level, relevant experience, skills, performance and internal equity. This position maybe eligible for shift differentials based on the grade of the role.
