Job Description:
Responsibilities include:
- Coordinate all aspects of event planning, including venue selection, creating event schedules, and managing budgets
- Collaborate with clients to understand their event objectives and develop event concepts and themes
- Manage vendor relationships, negotiate pricing, and ensure all services are delivered on time and within budget
- Oversee event logistics, including food and beverage, transportation, audiovisual setup, and on-site staffing
- Create and manage event registration systems, including ticket sales and attendee tracking
- Coordinate event marketing and promotions, including social media campaigns and email marketing
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in hospitality management, event planning, marketing, communications, or related field (or equivalent work experience)
- Proven experience in event planning or coordination, preferably in a corporate or nonprofit setting
- Strong organizational and multitasking skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with diverse stakeholders
- Detail-oriented and resourceful, with a proactive approach to problem-solving
