Must be able to come to the Atlanta HQ for meetings, as needed

IMMEDIATE TEMP REMOTE Volunteer Event Coordinator role available! We are currently representing a client in the non-profit sector, seeking a Volunteer Event Coordinator for their to join their team on a contractual basis.
The position will last for at least 3 months, with the possibility for an extension, based on performance.

Description of assignment and duties: Works with the project director and Resource Development team on volunteer coordination of donor volunteers. Works with host affiliate on coordinated messaging and volunteer management. Helps with project schedules and timelines.

• Volunteer coordination in partnership with host affiliate.
• Works with Resource Development team on sponsor volunteer management.
• Works with project director on construction leader volunteer coordination, messaging, fee payments and assignments.
• Works with affiliate volunteer coordinator on joint volunteer messaging and communication.

• 3 years of volunteer management experience.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office, especially Word, Excel, and Teams.
• Previous experience managing volunteers or groups.

• Scheduling/timeline knowledge.
• Good communication skills and the ability to work with multiple departments
