We are looking for a competent Event Coodinator to oversee and organize events for several luxury apartments in Atlanta and surrounding cites. You’ll ensure events are successful and cost-effective, paying attention to budget and time constraints. An event coordinator is, above all, a project manager who understands marketing and promotion techniques. We want to see enthusiastic candidates who are passionate with fresh ideas and the organizational skills required to not leave anything about an event to chance. You must be ready to start immediately.

Responsibilities

• Execute and host the event from start to finish according to requirements, target audience and objectives
• Review each event at the end and upload receipts and photos with 48hours
• Come up with suggestions to enhance the event’s success
• Ensure adherence to events budget
• Help with sourcing and negotiations with vendors and suppliers
• Assist with the hiring of personnel (DJs, waiters, chefs, etc.)
• Help coordinate all operations for the event
• Shopping for the event
• Supervise all staff (assistants, caterers etc.)
• Ensure event is completed smoothly and step up to resolve any problems that might occur
• Analyze the event’s success and report everything

Your ideal schedule would look like events Monday - Friday evenings 5/6pm to 8/9pm (including setup and breakdown time)

Some Saturdays & Sundays 11am to 4pm (Pool Parties , brunches etc) (Sundays are rare)
