For employees located near our New York headquarters, we have no mandated number of in-office work days but encourage employees to collaborate in our office at least one day per week. Role Overview

We are looking for a highly motivated and talented Data Scientist to join our team and make a significant impact. As a Data Scientist focused on blockchain data, you will play a critical role in developing innovative data analysis techniques and leveraging machine learning algorithms to derive valuable insights. The ideal candidate is a creative and experienced data scientist with a solid foundation in statistics, programming, and data analysis. If you are passionate about solving real-world problems in the blockchain space using data-driven approaches, we offer a unique opportunity to work with a talented team of engineers and scientists on cutting-edge projects that have the potential to revolutionize the way we do business.

Responsibilities

• Analyze large complex blockchain datasets to identify patterns, trends, and insights that can be used to improve our understanding of Blockchain and to support the core of our data science processes around clustering and entity attributions
• Collaborate with Engineering and Product teams to identify problems and own innovative solutions with clear objectives in mind
• Develop and implement machine learning models to solve business problems, leveraging algorithms such as regression, classification, clustering, and deep learning.
• Communicate findings and recommendations to stakeholders in a clear and concise manner.

• Have ideally at least 5 years of experience
• Degree in a technical or quantitative discipline, such as Engineering, Computer Science, Statistics, Mathematics or related fields
• Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to think creatively and develop innovative solutions
• Strong understanding of machine learning algorithms and techniques, such as regression, classification, clustering, natural language processing, deep learning, and reinforcement learning
• Proficiency in programming languages commonly used in Data Science, such as Python or R, and experience with relevant libraries and frameworks
• Proficiency with SQL and its variation among popular databases
• Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to convey complex technical concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences.

• Knowledge of blockchain, smart contracts, or decentralized finance (DeFi)
• Resourcefulness in finding data sources and gathering data
• Proactivity in identifying problems, asking the right questions and independently driving to solutions
• Versatility in attacking problems with different tools and from various angles
