DESCRIPTION:
Duties: Responsible for developing and delivering reporting and analytic solutions. Plan and execute analytical projects, both individually and in collaboration with fellow data scientists. Communicate data science findings to senior business leaders. Manage relationships with stakeholders across business and technology teams. Conduct discovery analysis and hypothesis testing with partners to proactively identify, develop, and implement opportunities. Develop deep subject matter expertise in various financial and operational domains to support a diverse book of work. Drive data science and analytics strategy including recommendations on the products, processes and services of the organization. Lead Consumer & Community Banking testing and implementation of cloud-hosted analytical applications.
QUALIFICATIONS:
Minimum education and experience required: Master’s degree in Computer Systems Engineering, Data Science, or related field of study plus 3 years of experience in the job offered or as Data Scientist, Software Engineer, or related occupation. The employer will alternatively accept a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Systems Engineering, Data Science, or related field of study plus 5 years of experience in the job offered or as Data Scientist, Software Engineer, or related occupation.
Skills Required: Requires experience in the following: developing and deploying machine learning solutions, including supervised and unsupervised models and deep learning solutions; modern analytical and data science languages and tools including Python, Anaconda, R, Spark, Hive, SQL, and AWS Redshift; collaborating with Data Engineering teams to implement and operationalize Machine Learning models; developing and delivering data for intra-company or extra-company usage by a partner team; presenting analytical and data science solutions to senior, non-technical business leaders.
Job Location: 277 Park Avenue, New York, NY 10172. Telecommuting permitted up to 40% of the week.
Full-Time. Salary: $163,238.00-$170,000.00 per year.
