Job Summary: To provide accounts payable services for 3-4 buildings in which the Elemental team administers. Tasks include receiving and processing accounts payable invoices, post invoices to QuickBooks, perform check runs on a weekly basis, filing information in an organized manner, assist in initiatives to streamline the process, and assist in other general office functions at Elemental Management Group.
- Receive invoices via mail, email, etc and organize the information for efficient processing.
- Process the invoices in QuickBooks for the buildings in which are assigned to the associate.
- Work with the Elemental Team to resolve accounts payable and payment issues, and work with the buildings for timely and accurate signoffs.
- On a weekly basis, review and send the complete accounts payable file to the Controller so that selections can be made for payment.
- Process check runs on a weekly basis and adheres to internal processes and procedures.
- File the accounts payable invoice packages efficiently and accurately for the team.
- Assist in audits where necessary and perform other finance functions as needed.
- Researching accounts payable vendors routinely to ensure consistency and maximum efficiency is obtained by streamlining vendor usage and accounts payable invoice processing.
- Cross-trainm and assist if needed, with the accounts payable team to ensure proper coverage is obtained for increased accounts payable opportunities.
- General office functions, such as answering the phones, helping team members and general office functions.
