Element2 Group is Hiring a Project Manager Near Providence, RI

The Project Manager is responsible for managing the construction of the project in strict accordance with the plans and specifications and in conformance with the policies and procedures of the company. The Project Manager will act and make decisions in matters affecting planning, procurement, labor, supervision, personnel, costs, safety, and quality assurance.

Essential Functions:

  • Develop monthly schedule updates and weekly look ahead schedules.
  • Review all field requisitions and purchase orders to exercise control over all expenditures.
  • Collaborate with subcontractors’ field supervisory personnel and forces for capability to meet schedule requirements and subcontractor compliance.
  • Review and supervise job cost control system. Set up job cost budgets and take responsibility for the bottom line. Develop monthly update of the cost report, including forecasting of cost to complete. Set up and run quarterly cost meeting with management.
  • Hold regular coordination meetings with field supervisors, subcontractors, and the owner and architect.
  • Determine, prepare, and submit approved monthly progress payment requisitions.

Preferred Education and Experience:

  • B.S. degree in Civil or Architectural Engineering, Construction Management or comparable work experience in Construction Management.
  • Experience in various industries; Industrial, Science & Technology, Ground-up work in the multi-family, assisted living and/or hotel markets
  • Knowledge of advanced functions of Word, Excel, Outlook and other web-based applications

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $100,000.00 - $150,000.00 per year
