The Project Manager will work collaboratively with the client, team members, and vendors to assess the overall performance of the project. The Project Manager will oversee daily operations which includes day-to-day staff management as well as contract and budget management. The Project Manager will lead the team to ensure requirements and business needs are met during the project and will work directly with the vendors, business users and other stakeholders to provide recommendations on project issues, risks and direction as well as provide required reporting.
Job Responsibilities Include:
*Relationship and expectation management including working daily with key client leadership.
*Develop, maintain, and manage to a project schedule; including ensuring the tasks are appropriately assigned and deadlines are being met.
*Develop, maintain, and manage project plans, communication plans, risk logs, issue logs, and other work products essential to effective project management of the team.
*Ensure that all processes and methodologies are executed and followed as applicable.
*Develop deliverables in accordance with project requirements and company documentation standards; submit to federal government (as required).
*Ensure complete and accurate status reports.
*Review and assess project management plans and processes from solution vendors for the overall project (including, but not limited to risk management, schedule, and cost management, change management and issue resolution) for quality, completeness, compliance, and effectiveness.
*Identify, review, analyze, and document project risks and issues with specific metrics, triggers, mitigations, and recommendations through structured interviews, risk management meetings, practice compliance, lessons learned, and metric analysis.
*Communicate project status, risks and issues to the client and NTT DATA Client Partner and leadership team.
*Participate in project steering committee meetings, status meetings, and other stakeholder meetings as needed to discuss project status, reports, and recommendations.
Required Qualifications:
*Minimum 8 years total work experience
*Minimum 5 years working with large government, IT Projects in the State Health and Human Services (HHS) industry.
*5 years Project Management experience
*Bachelor's degree or 4 years additional relevant work experience
*Project Management Professional (PMP) or Master Project Management (MPM) certification, or have an industry equivalent certification.
Preferred Skills:
*Medicaid program or solution experience
*Consulting experience
*Experience with federal certification requirements, especially for Medicaid solutions.
Where required by law, NTT DATA provides a reasonable range of compensation for specific roles. The starting pay range for this remote role is $125,000 - 161,800. This range reflects the minimum and maximum target compensation for the position across all US locations. Actual compensation will depend on a number of factors, including the candidate's actual work location, relevant experience, technical skills, and other qualifications. This position may also be eligible for incentive compensation based on individual and/or company performance.
This position is eligible for company benefits including medical, dental, and vision insurance with an employer contribution, flexible spending or health savings account, life and AD&D insurance, short and long term disability coverage, paid time off, employee assistance, participation in a 401k program with company match, and additional voluntary or legally-required benefits.
