Position Description

The primary responsibility for the Operations Financial Analyst is to support construction management teams by developing and interpreting financial metrics and measurements in an easy to consume manner. Knowledge of finance is key and the ability to effectively communicate finance to non-finance roles ensures success of the position. This position will interface with regional leadership and cross-functional teams.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
- Develop and analyze financial metrics and measurements (WIP, cash flow, job costings, GAAP standards).
- Communicate financial metrics to regional leadership and cross-functional teams in an easy to consume manner.
- Build and manage construction budgets and financial forecasts.
- Ad hoc financial analysis and project controlling as needed.

Position Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in related field
- 5 years of experience building and managing construction budgets
- 5 years of experience building and managing financial forecasts
- 5 year of experience managing $30m budgets, forecasts & variance analysis
- Knowledge and experience with technology tools used to measure construction success
- Understanding of WIP, cash flow, job costing and GAAP standards
- Ability to work with a wide variety of end user skill sets and build relationships
- Effective oral and written communication skills
- Strong analytical skills
- Ability to work independently and within small team environment
- Ability to manage multiple projects
- Team player and ability to solve problems
- Ability to adapt with a growing company
- Ability and willingness to travel as needed
