Job Overview:
We are seeking an experienced and motivated Outside Sales Representative to join our team. As an Outside Sales Representative, you will be responsible for generating new business opportunities and building strong relationships with clients. This is a great opportunity for someone who is passionate about sales and enjoys working in a fast-paced environment.
Duties:
- Identify and prospect potential customers concentrating on organizations in need of comprehensive truckload freight services
- Conduct sales presentations and product demonstrations to potential clients
- Build and maintain strong relationships with existing clients in order to understand their transportation requirements
- Collaborate with the sales team to develop effective sales strategies
- Meet or exceed sales targets and goals
- Provide excellent customer service and address client inquiries or concerns
- Utilize Salesforce or other CRM tools to track sales activities and manage customer accounts
- Stay up-to-date with industry trends, market conditions, and competitor activities
- Analyze market data and customer feedback to identify areas for improvement
Qualifications:
- Experience in the logistics industry or freight brokerage is preferred
- Knowledge of transportation regulations and industry trends
- Proven track record in sales or customer service roles
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Experience in account management or business development is a plus
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Proficient in using Salesforce or other CRM software
- Excellent negotiation and analytical skills
- Bachelors degree in business, logistics, sales, marketing or a related field is a plus
