Overview:
We are seeking a highly motivated and customer-oriented individual to join our team as a Customer Service Representative. As a Customer Service Representative, you will be the first point of contact for our customers, providing exceptional service and support. This is a great opportunity to work in a fast-paced environment and contribute to the success of our company. This is a M - F 8am - 5pm schedule. The ideal Customer Service Rep candidate should have experience working in an industrial setting.
Duties:
- Answer incoming customer inquiries via phone, email, and live chat
- Provide accurate information about products, services, and promotions
- Assist customers with placing orders, processing returns, and resolving any issues or concerns
- Utilize phone etiquette and effective communication skills to ensure positive customer interactions
- Perform data entry tasks to update customer records and maintain accurate information
- Upsell products and services to maximize sales opportunities
- Make outbound calls to follow up with customers or provide additional information as needed
Experience:
- Previous experience in customer service or a related field is preferred
- Strong communication skills in English, both verbal and written
- Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment
- Proficient in data entry and computer skills
- A bachelor's degree is preferred
- Experience with ERP systems and AS 400 is a plus
We have a 401k plan, we do a 401k match of 50% up to 6% of the employee contribution. Employees are eligible once they complete 90 days of service.
We have 3 medical plans, and two dental/vision plans to choose from once hired.
If hired, employees start with 48 hours sick time, 32 floating holiday hours and they would be given 80 hours vacation time prorated based off of their hire date.
