People Operations Specialist

Overview

Edifecs is seeking a People Operations Specialist to join our dynamic People & Culture team. This position is a key role on the People Operations team responsible for onboarding/off-boarding and the administration of HR systems and data throughout the associate lifecycle. This role also serves as a first-line point of contact for enquiries on a broad range of people-related matters.

What you will do:
  • Support associate lifecycle administration: onboarding, new hire orientation, payroll issue resolution, status changes, and off-boarding.
  • Serve as lead administrator for various HR systems, including our HRIS system (ADP), reward & recognition platform (Awardco), orgchart software (Pingboard) and more
  • Manage associate change process including coordinating all required approvals and data entry into HRIS system. Maintain HR systems with all associate data changes in a timely and accurate manner.
  • Support payroll processing by partnering with the payroll team
  • Generate reports as needed and assist in the maintenance of personnel files and records.
  • Update the People & Culture corporate intranet pages (public and private)
  • Own timely and accurate response to phone-based and written employment verifications
  • Assist in planning associate activity programs to support the work culture, including onsite and virtual events to support associate engagement and fun!
  • Work to gain and maintain knowledge, understanding, and compliance with state and federal regulations governing human resources practices
  • Perform other related duties as required


What you will bring
:

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Human Resources, a related field, or equivalent work experience.
  • 1 years of recent Human Resources related experience
  • Possess an understanding of basic human resource principles, practices, and procedures.
  • Technical proficiency and experience with enterprise applications, particularly the Microsoft Office suite
  • The ability to multi-task in a growing, fast-paced environment: able to prioritize effectively, attention to detail, accuracy and demonstrate solid time management and organizational skills.
  • Possess strong verbal/written communication, interpersonal, and teamwork skills. Strong customer and results orientation
  • Ability to manage sensitive and confidential information.
  • ADP HRIS experience desirable & multi-state HR experience preferred

Note:
The expected base pay range for this position is $43,000 - $56,000 per year. Base pay offered may vary depending on location, job-related knowledge, education, and experience.
