Purpose & Impact

The director of Engineering will be responsible for leading the development and execution of the company's engineering initiatives. The ideal candidate will have a strong track record of successfully building and scaling SaaS products, as well as leading and managing high-performing engineering teams. 

What that looks like day to day:

•Execute the company's product strategy in alignment with business objectives and market trends. 

•Lead the development and delivery of high-quality products that meet customer needs and expectations. 

•Collaborate with the product team in the definition and prioritization of product features, user stories, and use cases. 

•Assist in the development and management of product roadmaps, timelines, and release schedules. 

•Ensure that product development is aligned with engineering capabilities, timelines, and priorities. 

•Manage and motivate the engineering team to build high-quality software solutions that are scalable, reliable, and secure. 

•Foster a culture of innovation, collaboration, and continuous improvement within the engineering teams. 

•Work closely with the sales, marketing, and customer success teams to ensure that products are marketed effectively, and customer needs are met. 

•Monitor and analyze product performance metrics to identify opportunities for improvement and growth. 

•Stay up-to-date with industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices in engineering. 

Who you are:

•Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field. 

•10 years of experience in software engineering, or a related field. 

•Proven track record of developing and launching successful SaaS products. 

•Strong technical background and experience managing high-performing engineering teams. 

•Experience with agile software development methodologies, including Scrum and Kanban. 

•Excellent communication, leadership, and interpersonal skills. 

•Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. 

•Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment. 

•Experience in managing remote teams is a plus.
