Edgewater Federal Solutions is seeking a talented ServiceNow Developer to join and provide support to PSGSS contract located in Washington, D.C. As a ServiceNow Developer, your responsibilities will include developing, configuring, and customizing the platform according to business requirements. We are seeking a ServiceNow Developer who has extensive experience and an enthusiasm for delivering top-notch software solutions. The ideal candidate should possess both independent and collaborative working abilities.

Responsibilities

  • ServiceNow application development and troubleshooting/technical support
  • Dashboarding and data visualization using out of the box ServiceNow analytics capabilities and/or MS Power BI
  • Serve as Subject Matter Expert (SME) and advisor with regard to engineering solutions for data collection and repository in ServiceNow
  • Design, develop, test, and deploy solutions
  • Assist with data normalization of date sets and uploading of data into ServiceNow
  • Assist and advise on developing framework for data management, data quality, and governance
  • Collaborate and communicate across multiple divisions, programs, organizations, and teams to execute tasks and ensure successful delivery of services and products for the customer
  • Work as part of an integrated team to identify opportunities to improve and enhance business processes and serve as the conduit between operations and development, supporting the translation of business requirements into technical requirements
  • Assist with creating user stories, updating, and maintaining multiple projects in Jira
  • Support other tasks as required
  • Update and or modify existing application
  • Perform ServiceNow administration, including adding new users, access control, and permissions

Qualifications

  • Extensive experience working with ServiceNow; ServiceNow development experience and skills highly desired
  • Experience in Javascript development
  • Ability to interact with stakeholders, client Program and Product Managers, data engineers, and senior-level leadership is a must
  • Must be highly detail-oriented and be able to quickly absorb complex processes and business needs to identify opportunities for efficiency
  • Must be able to lead design activities, and influence engineering and product directions
  • Analytical approach to problem-solving, leveraging technology to solve business problems
  • Critical thinking with excellent problem-solving skills
  • Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication; requires great listening and interpretation skills
  • Self-starter with a consultant mindset; identify, communicate, and act on issues and initiatives
  • Ability to prioritize projects and keep multiple projects/teams on schedule

Preferred Qualifications:

  • ServiceNow Certification(s)
  • Experience with Jira (Confluence)
  • Experience with data visualization and self-service BI/data warehousing/advanced analytics tools (e.g., Power BI)
  • Github repository

 Education and Years of Experience:

  • Minimum nine (9) years of experience, of which five (5) must be relevant in IT, Cybersecurity, Systems Engineering, Software Development, experience in SDLC and agile software development environment
  • Requires BA/BS in related field (e.g.: Computer Science, IT, etc.)

Security Clearance

  • Applicants selected must be eligible to work in the United States, be subject to a government security investigation, and meet eligibility requirements for access to protected information
