Innovation: Contract Project Manager (temporary / part-time)

Eclipse is seeking a temporary, part-time Contract Project Manager to join our team and own operations to support the growth of our business. You will work directly with the Product Development and R&D Teams to help implement our innovation pipeline and vision with your expertise in project management.. You will drive all things operations, from logistics and supply chain to co-manufacturing, quality assurance, and customer service.

Who are you?

• Required : 3-5 years of project management experience working with food CPG product launches. Start-up experience is a plus!
• Able to get up to speed quickly and work independently while juggling multiple projects in a fast-paced environment.
• Proven track record of leading projects to successful completion while effectively managing and communicating with cross-functional teams, stakeholders, and direct manager with clarity.
• Have experience using project management tools such as Smartsheet, Asana, Microsoft Projects or similar to create timelines and using them with cross-functional teams to track projects.
• Familiar with Stage Gate processes and basic knowledge of financials (P&Ls).
• Have a sense of urgency, proactively follows up and able to hold self and team members accountable to deliverables, but with grace and humility.

What will you do?

• Lead and manage active Product Development projects including creating and tracking timelines, creating agendas, running and scheduling cross-functional meetings, monitoring and generating actionable follow-up notes.
• Actively identify and proactively escalate (as appropriate) critical issues/risks.
• Proactively rally relevant cross-functional teams to troubleshoot critical issues/risks to projects, identify solutions, and make appropriate recommendations to the leadership team.
• Support Director of Product Innovation in developing project plans and timelines of new innovation projects and ushering them through stage gate process.
• Create a project portfolio tracker and keep documentation up to date. Act as point of contact for project reporting and updates.
• Other duties as assigned.

This is a part-time, temporary contract for ~4-6 months for 20/hours per week. Onsite required for project meetings, stage gate meetings, and other in-person work sessions necessary to advance projects. Flexibility for remote otherwise. Rate of pay is $50-$70/per hour depending on experience.
This position will report to the Director of Product Innovation.
