Blue Star Partners is Hiring a HR Program Manager / Project Manager Near Alameda, CA

Job Title: HR Program Manager / Project ManagerLocation: Alameda, CA – Onsite - Local candidates only
Period: 04/08/2024 to 10/11/2024 - possibility for extensions depending on business needs and candidate performance
Hours/Week: 40 hours 
Rate: $70-$75/hour (Hours over 40 will be paid at Time and a Half)
Contract Type: W-2

 
Scope of Services: 

The HR Program / Project Manager will develop, execute, and manage HR projects within the defined scope. Projects will be related to increasing employee engagement, fully maximizing employee networks, consolidating diversity & inclusion efforts globally, and ad hoc projects as needed. The role works with business and HR management to establish project goals, objectives, and deliverables and execute accordingly. The Program Manager assesses the degree to which changes to scope, issues, and risks will affect projects, working with department, management, and sponsors to gain agreement for resolution. They measure performance & personal execution to assure the project is progressing as compared to the original plan and budget. The role develops and executes a work plan, obtaining authorized resources to ensure all activities are performed. They gather & provide lessons learned from sponsors and stakeholders and communicate project progress by producing project reports to provide timely and accurate project status and decision support information to the Project Team and Department manager. The Program Manager coordinates resources to ensure project needs are addressed and is responsible for compliance with applicable Corporate and Divisional Policies and procedures. At the department level or provide assistance to HR Business Partners on ad hoc requests. They make decisions that impact project-level activities.

Experience:

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Human Resources, or related discipline.
  • At least 3 years’ experience in Project Management or Human Resources.
  • Project Management certification and/or track record a plus.
  • Supervisory Experience.
