Position Summary

EBI is seeking a full-time Project Manager to join our Construction Consulting Services team. Our industry-leading team provides clients with comprehensive construction loan monitoring including on-site review of the construction progress, construction draw reviews, and realistic risk assessments. If you are an Owner’s Representative, Development Manager, Construction Manager, Construction Estimator, Plan Reviewer, Construction Loan Monitor, Property Condition Assessment (PCA) author with direct construction experience, Construction Assessor, Field Engineer, Construction, Architectural, or Engineering Grad, or other Professional with real Commercial Construction experience evaluating ongoing construction projects, completing detailed draw reviews and writing construction monitoring reports, this is a great opportunity and we want to talk to you!

This position reports to the Director of Operations and is a fully remote, work from home position. The majority of clients this position will support will be located in or around Orlando and Tampa, FL, so candidates will need to already be established in this market. This is a field-based position, with upwards of 50% local and regional travel expected. Candidates must have previous experience with travel and be comfortable with this model to be considered.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

The successful applicant will have the opportunity to visit and evaluate a wide variety of construction and renovation projects nationwide for leading construction lenders and investors in the US.

• Project coordination including meetings and correspondence with clients and designated site contacts (owners, contractors, or developers)
• Visits to various construction sites to observe and document progress
• Review of construction documentation including draw requests, contractor pay applications, lien waivers, and change orders
• Attendance at project meetings
• Preparation of technical reports including monthly construction monitoring reports

Qualifications and Capabilities

• Certificate or Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Architecture or Civil Engineering, OR 3 years experience generating or reviewing construction work and construction draws
• Prior experience in Construction, Construction Monitoring, or Construction Consulting 

• Proficient in Excel, Word, and Outlook
• Solid understanding of construction documents
• A working understanding of both horizontal and vertical construction
• Ability to independently manage multiple tasks and deadlines
• Excellent technical report writing and communication skills
