Principal Duties and Responsibilities:

• Maintain the facility and all equipment within the facility.
• Keep records of all repairs and preventative maintenance activities.
• Assist the Maintenance Manager in ensuring compliance with safety norms, OSHA regulations, and state laws.
• Collaborate with other departments to ensure timely repair of equipment and systems.
• Work with the Maintenance Manager, property owner, and outside contractors to maintain and repair grounds and building equipment, including HVAC, overhead doors, dock plates, and electrical and plumbing fixtures.
• Assist with or perform janitorial tasks as needed.
• Monitor inventory of tools, equipment, and spare parts.
• Perform all duties as assigned by the Maintenance Manager.

Qualifications:

Education/Experience:

• High School diploma, GED equivalent, or equivalent qualification from an accredited institution.
• 2-5 years of experience as a Maintenance Technician.

Skills and Abilities:

• Strong mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills.
• Knowledge of maintenance procedures and techniques.
• Ability to prioritize tasks and work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
• Attention to detail and ability to maintain accurate records.
• Familiarity with safety regulations and procedures.
• Basic janitorial skills.

Physical Requirements:

• Ability to lift and move heavy objects.
• Stand, walk, and bend for extended periods.
• Work in various weather conditions when performing outdoor maintenance tasks.
