DESCRIPTION:
Join our dynamic team and work in a beautiful hotel setting with an unobstructed view of the ocean! We are currently seeking an experienced Pastry Chef who is passionate about the art of pastry, baking and highlighting local and seasonal fresh produce. This is a full-service restaurant featuring breakfast and dinner that will highlight freshly baked goods, beautifully plated desserts, and delectable sweets throughout both meal periods. We are looking for creative individuals with strong culinary skills that can provide authentic and memorable experiences that deliver the Southern California Dream to our guests.
The Pastry Chef will be responsible for production of all pastry and bakery items, as well as the overall efficiency, performance and success of the Pastry department. The Pastry Chef will work directly with the Executive Chef in developing new recipes and menu features, and continued development of the program and pastry staff. The ideal candidate will be well versed in culinary arts, pastry trends and techniques and the ability to function as a strong and organized leader to ensure standards and protocols are being met.

This is a salary position ranging from $66,500 - $95,700
