Position Overview:

Reporting directly to the Assistant Manager of Accounting, the Accounting Analyst will play a pivotal role in supporting critical financial operations and ensuring compliance within the organization.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist in the month-end and year-end close processes, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.
• Conduct detailed analysis of financial variances compared to previous periods and budget projections.
• Provide essential support for financial statement audits, tax filings, and compliance reviews.
• Perform monthly bank reconciliations to maintain financial accuracy and integrity.
• Manage property and sales/use tax filings to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.
• Aid in accounts payable processing, ensuring timely and accurate payments.
• Serve as an expert user of accounting and accounts payable software systems, offering training, configuring updates, and troubleshooting issues as needed.
• Collaborate with various departments to gather necessary information for accounting analysis.
• Identify opportunities for process improvements and implement solutions proactively.
• Independently prepare ad-hoc reports and analyses to support strategic decision-making.
• Contribute to departmental and firmwide special projects, collaborating with key stakeholders across departments.

• Superior organizational skills with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively.
• Proficiency in technology, including intermediate to expert-level Excel skills.
• Ability to master accounting systems and adopt new technological solutions.

Experience:

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Business, or a related field.
• Preferred 1-2 years of accounting experience.
• Experience in designing and implementing process improvements is a plus.

Salary and Benefits:

• Competitive annual compensation ranging from $70,000 to $85,000, commensurate with qualifications and experience.
