An International professional services firm with 20 offices in major financial centers across the globe, is searching for an Accounting Analyst in its Global Services Office headquarters. This position will take on the following responsibilities and more and would be a central part of the accounting department:

• Support the month-end and year-end close process;
• Perform bank reconciliations;
• Provide support for financial statement, tax, and compliance audits;
• Perform monthly foreign exchange gain/loss calculations;
• Analyze actual financial variance results to prior periods and budget;
• Complete property and sales and use tax filings;
• Assist with accounts payable processing;
• As an advanced user of the accounting and accounts payable software systems, provide training to end users, configure and test updates, and troubleshoot issues;
• Identify and implement process improvements proactively;
• Prepare ad-hoc reports and analysis independently;

EXPERIENCE

• A four-year degree in Accounting, Economics, Finance, Business, or other similar field is required.
• 1-2 years of Public Accounting and/or large corporate accounting experience.
• Experience designing and implementing process improvements preferred.
