About The Sales Job

Outside Sales Responsibilities Include:

• Selling, marketing, promoting, and profitably aligning company's products and services to both current and potential customers.
• Facilitating customer-focused training events such as technical classes, lunch meetings, and business-related presentations.
• Executing a disciplined sales process with all assigned accounts to utilize quotation management, which includes initial inquiry, quotation, close, delivery, and follow-up.
• Providing prompt responses with all orders including new and existing customers, making sure they are fulfilled promptly.
• Providing exceptional customer service as you keep track of sales order statuses and customer requirements.
• Ensuring close collaboration and communication with company resources including inside sales, procurement, accounting, and product specialists.

What We Need From You:

• Education and/or Experience: Prefer Bachelor's degree (BA) from four-year college or university and 2-3 years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience. Experience in Sales, Industrial Distribution, PVF, Commercial Plumbing is a must.
• Computer Skills: Individuals should be adept with computers and ideally have Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) experience and/or CRM experience. Solar Eclipse experience is heavily preferred.
• Location: You should live within a reasonable distance from the branch location . Training for this job is in person, and the ideal candidate will work in the office, at least occasionally. Remote flexibility is an option, however needs to be approved by the manager.
• Travel: Must have the ability to travel locally and regionally about 80% of the time. Valid Driver's License required.
